The Power of 0.3 Hz

The Power of 0.3 Hz: Unleashing the Potential of Low-Frequency Stimulation

Microcurrent therapy is based on the evidence that micro amperage currents closely approximate the natural occurring bioelectric currents in the body and therefore effectively augment the body’s tissue healing and repair.

Paul Lathrop, PhD

what is a frequency?

Frequency is a measure of how often a particular event or phenomenon occurs within a given time period. It is often expressed in cycles per second, or hertz (Hz). In the context of cycles per second, frequency refers to the number of complete cycles that occur in one second. For example, if a wave completes 10 cycles in one second, its frequency would be 10 Hz. The concept of cycles per second helps us understand the rate at which a particular event or phenomenon repeats itself.

The Role of 0.3 Hz Frequency in Skin Regeneration

Low frequency microcurrent stimulates ATP production in cells by increasing the flow of electrons through the electron transport chain in the mitochondria. This increased flow of electrons leads to an increase in ATP production. Additionally, low level microcurrent also helps to increase blood flow and oxygenation to the skin cells, which further supports ATP production.

The Electron is the ultimate Antioxidant.

Frequencies under 1 Hz such as 0.3 have been shown to be the most effective at healing injuries and pain management.

Applications of 0.3 Hz Frequency in Skin Treatments

This low frequency is very effective at stimulating the Golgi Tendon Organ and can result in shorter, lifted muscles in the face. 0.3 H has also been shown to stimulate ATP in the skin cells. The “non Surgical Face lift” was born out of this technique and 0.3 Hz is the frequency that is most used for this type of facial rejuvenation.
