- Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) - acts as a free radical scavenger which stimulate collagen via the fibroblast cells and suppresses melanogenisis. A potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory ingredient that acts to calm, heal and regenerate the skin.
- Ascorbyl Glucoside - this is broken down into L- Ascorbic Acid and glucose by the enzyme Alpha-Glucosidase.
- Sodium Ascorbate - Non acidic and more soluble than Ascorbic Acid. It is more reactive compared to Ascorbic Acid in building connective tissue.
- Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate - A stabilised source of Vitamin C which helps to strengthen and repair the skin whilst inhibiting Tyrosinase.
- Panthenol - provides Vitamin B5 and has humectant like properties that promote moisture absorption and acts like a moisturiser to smooth skin.
